Division 14 - Lawrence Chrum

Born in St. Charles, Missouri. Graduate of St. Charles High School; Graduate of Lindenwood University, Cum Laude, BA, Corporate Communication and Public Relations; Graduate of Western Michigan University, Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Juris Doctorate January 2003. 

Memberships: The Missouri Bar; St. Charles County Bar Association; Missouri Municipal and Associate Judges Association. 

Judge Chrum proudly enlisted in the United States Navy, Active Duty and Reserve 1992-2003, and Unites States Navy Reserve 2015-Present; having more than 20 years of Honorable Service, he continues to serve.

Prior to taking the bench in 2024, Judge Chrum was engaged in the  private practice of law handling a variety of general fields of litigation including corporate formation and transactions, real estate, criminal law and family law; Beck, Tiemeyer, Zerr, Fralicx and Wulff, 2002-2003, Founding member of the Law Office of Lawrence J. Chrum, 2003-2013.

Judge Chrum served as the Chief Trial Attorney, and Chief Attorney for the Special Victim's Unit, St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, 2013-2024, litigating the most serious and complex criminal cases including Domestic Violence, Sex Crimes, Crimes Against Children and Murder, including a death penalty trial. 

Judge Chrum served as the Cottleville Municipal Judge, 2022-2024.

Appointed Associate Circuit Judge 2024.
