Division 3 - Erin Burlison

Judge Burlison was born and raised in St. Charles County. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri -Columbia, B.A. and received her Juris Doctorate at St. Louis University School of Law. 

Prior to taking the bench in 2013, Judge Burlison practiced family law, estate planning and general areas of litigation. Judge Burlison has served on the bench as an Associate Circuit Judge since 2013. Judge Burlison won the primary election for Division 3 of the circuit court in 2024 and was unopposed in the general election, allowing Governor Parson to appoint her early to the circuit bench in August 2024. Judge Burlison is a member of the St. Charles County Bar Association and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. Judge Burlison was also appointed by the Supreme Court of Missouri to the Child Support Guidelines Review Subcommittee and the Combatting Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence Commission, and she currently serves on both committees.

Judge Burlison and her husband, a law enforcement officer for over twenty years, live in St. Charles with their three children.
