On behalf of the judges and staff of the St. Charles County Circuit Court, welcome to the Court’s website.
Missouri’s circuit courts are part of the judicial branch of state government. The circuit courts are courts of original civil and criminal jurisdiction. There are 46 judicial circuits in Missouri. As the third largest and fastest growing county in Missouri, St. Charles County is in a single-county circuit - the 11th Judicial Circuit.
Within the circuit court, there are various divisions such as circuit civil, associate circuit civil, small claims, family, juvenile, probate, criminal, treatment and municipal. The St. Charles County Circuit Court is comprised of 6 circuit judges, 9 associate circuit judges, and 1 probate commissioner. There are also 10 municipal divisions in St. Charles County which hear local ordinance violation cases.

Per Local Court Rule 4.2.1 effective May 1, 2026 an additional $10.00 per service per party is to be paid to the courts when a special process server is appointed. Special process server will not be approved until the courts receives the required fee per 57.280 RSMo.
ALL NOTARIZED AFFIDAVITS OF THE SPECIAL PROCESS SERVER SHALL BE UPDATED YEARLY.
